Battle For Your Totem

Get ready to smoke some Crews! Give everyone a taste of your crew’s original flavor. Each Crew must bring a Totem as a symbol that represents them. The losing crew must surrender it to the winning crew. Protect your totem!

The Crew Battle involves a show battle with five rounds per crew. The judges will select the Top 8 crews. In the Top 8 there will be a knockout phase until the finals. ‘Make it Obvious’ will be the criteria applied to judge the finals, a RWMZ signature battle concept created and used by the crew in every anniversary since 2010 to date.

To participate it is mandatory to bring your own TOTEM
Minimum number of participants per crew: 2
There is no maximum number of participants.

PRIZE: Flight to COLD SWEAT JAM (Marseille)
COST: 5€ x Bboy/Bgirl

A call out battle-cypher featuring concepts that explore the different dimensions of breaking by allowing Bboys and Bgirls to express their style and skills to the very best of their ability.

3 judges will stand in the 3 main cyphers of the jam and every 10 minutes a different concept will be extracted for the Bboys and Bgirls to dance on. The call out battle can happen in any cypher in which a judge is present and it will consist of one round per Bboy/Bgirl based on the extracted concept.

The judges will select the Top 8 Bboy/Bgirls. The Top 8 will consist of knockout rounds and in each battle 3 concepts will be extracted, making a total of 3 rounds per battle. In the final, there will be a battle for survival until only one Bboy/Bgirl will remain standing. ‘Make it Obvious’ will be the criteria applied to judge the finals, a RWMZ signature battle concept created and used by the crew in every anniversary since 2010 to date.

To promote this style and inspire new generations, this year Rockin will be in the spotlight.

Anyone who wants to participate will defend their turf in the Apache line and dance an entire song. The judges will select the 4 best rockers who will compete in a classic 1vs1 Rockin' battle.
